On-Campus Dining

On campus dining has quite the reputation, but whether you love it or hate it, you can’t deny how conveniently they’re placed for that quick bite to eat or emergency when your lunch evaporates from the communal fridge.  Harvard dining services will typically be closed during the weekend and also outside the academic year.

Students living in the dorms should be well aware of Dudley Cafe, located at its namesake, Dudley House (or Lehman Hall).  This option is open for lunch and dinner (buffet) only on weekdays.  Note that you can pay by the pound for the dinner buffet, in the event you don’t want enough food to warrant the full price.

A popular option for the engineers goes by many names, but is officially known as “Harkness Cafeteria” (AKA Caspersen Cafe, Law School Cafeteria, etc.).  Located on the second level of the Caspersen Student Center, up a ramp that brings you to a large selection of offerings and a good place to eat with friends. The “pub” is downstairs and open for dinner onwards.
